🌟 Girls Learn to Play Ice Hockey is Coming to Peterborough! 🏒

Exciting news for aspiring hockey players in Peterborough — a brand-new Girls Learn to Play Ice Hockey programme is launching in June 2026! This fantastic initiative is designed to introduce more girls and women to the sport in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment.

🏒 A Great Opportunity to Get on the Ice

Whether you’ve always wanted to try ice hockey or are simply curious about the sport, this programme is the perfect starting point. No prior experience is required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to give it a go!

The sessions focus on building confidence, skills, and friendships, making it ideal for complete beginners or those looking to ease into the game.

Together, they’re committed to making ice hockey more accessible and growing the women’s game at grassroots level.

📍 Event Details

Here’s everything you need to know:

• Location: Planet Ice Peterborough
• Start Date: Sunday 7th June 2026
• Time: 4:15pm (1-hour sessions)
• Who Can Join: Girls and women aged 10+
• Cost: £12 per session (payable directly to Planet Ice)
• Experience: None required
• Equipment: Provided (Except skates which can be your own or hired from Planet Ice)

⏱️ Arrival Information

Due to the changing time and to ensure everything runs smoothly, we recommend:

• Arriving at least 1.5 hours before the first session
• Arriving 30 minutes before each session thereafter

This allows plenty of time for equipment fitting, getting changed, and settling onto the ice without any rush.
